Despite the somewhat dubious name, Ainol is a Chinese company that produces a number of media players. I bought one a few years ago to use in while travelling before the iPad came along. Ainol has moved into the tablet world with a bunch of Android tablets built off their media players. The amazing thing is that one of their newest products, the Novo 7 Elf, comes with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. The better part is the price: for just under US$100. I was down in the computer mall recently and saw several Ainol tablets including ones advertised with Android 4.0. However, I did not get a chance to see how well they worked or if they were indeed preloaded with Android. The price though is appealing enough that I might just be willing to find out. With most other Android tablets between US$300-500 (and most waiting to be upgraded to Android 4), this is an interesting option.
