In addition to the Leica M Monochrom, Leica also announced the upgrade of its X series camera with the updated X2. The main difference seems to be a 16MP APS-C sensor. Leica also says they made some improvements, especially to the Autofocus system, which had been one of the key issues with the X1. I do wish they had put in a better or even larger screen though as this looks to be the same as the previous one. The Chrome with the black finish looks even more stunning. I’ve always been tempted to buy the X1 and with this update, perhaps, I might get the X2 as a quick-snap campera.
