I just got an e-mail that the HTC One-X “Premium Set” that I signed up for is ready to collet on Thursday, April 5. In addition to the phone, the Premium set comes with a Beats Headphone. According to some websites, because I signed up early, it comes at a slight discount to the normal retail price. I’m not sure if that’s correct, but it would be nice to see them reward us for being early adopters. Again if you can’t remember why the One-X is so appealing, here are a few reasons:
- Quadcore 1.5GHz Nvidia Tegra 3 chip (should make it one of the fastest phones)
- 4.7″ 720p Gorilla Glass, Super LCD2 screen
- Beats Sound integrated
- Android 4.0 with HTC Sense 4 (the Sense UI is still one of the best)
- 8MP camera with BSI and lots of features like dual shutters, HDR, HD video, etc.
- 25GB of Dropbox space included (valid though only for 2 years)
- At 8.9mm, it’s thinner than an iPhone
- NFC
I guess I’ll find out more on Thursday when I go see it. I still love the Samsung Galaxy Note, but I’m keen to see what this can offer.
