I’m a huge fan of the Micro Four-Thirds format and I’m glad that its getting more widely accepted. I love my Lumix GX1 and I like having more options for lenses. I’m super happy that Panasonic has teamed up with Leica and I was really happy to buy the 25mm Lumix-Leica Summilux. I love large aperture lenses. Nokton has quite a number of large aperture lenses, and I was very tempted to get the 25mm 0.95 lens they had. The only reason I didn’t was because I wanted something with Autofocus. So I chose the Lumix-Leica setup instead. Still, I want one of these wide open lenses and it’s a lot more affordable than dreaming about the Leica Noctilux, which is extremely expensive though very impressive. I wouldn’t buy the same focal length that I already have, but Cosina, the company that makes the Nokton lenses, just announced a 17.5mm 0.95 which on a Micro Four-Thirds is equivalent to a 35mm frame. That’s pretty unique. I’m tempted to get an extra lens now!
